Interactive effects between travel behaviour and COVID-19: a questionnaire study

Abstract This study has two main objectives: (i) to analyse the effect of travel characteristics on spreading disease, and (ii) determine COVID-19 behaviour at individual level. First, analyses passenger volume proportions different modes spread in early stage. The developed spatial autoregressive model shows that total air railway volumes are positively associated with cumulative confirmed cases. Second, a questionnaire is analysed changes after COVID-19. results indicate number trips considerably decreased. Public transport usage decreased by 20.5%, while private car increased 6.4%. Then factors affecting logit models. findings reveal significant factors, including gender, occupation restriction. It expected from this would be helpful for management control traffic during pandemic.
